Job Description of a Warehouse Checker:
- Inspects and verifies incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Checks outgoing shipments to ensure the accuracy of product type, quantity, and condition before dispatch.
- Maintains records of inventory transactions, discrepancies, and any damaged or missing goods.
- Coordinates with warehouse staff to resolve shipment discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation of goods for storage or transportation.
- Conducts regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Follows safety protocols to ensure the proper handling and storage of goods.
- Assists in loading and unloading goods as needed.
- Reports any operational or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
